John Mueller of Google reported on Twitter that if you have an EMD(Exact Match Domain) if doesn’t give you a magic ranking bonus in Google. This sparked a fair large debate on the subject since there are MANY experts who disagree with this statement and have documented proof.  Kyle John is one of the experts who disagree with this theory and wrote an article on best practices when using an EMD.  It’s not known if the Exact Match theory works in the USA, but so far experts are claiming success in Canada and the UK.
